1. The Notes on Isaiah in StL are Luther's own scholia (lecture notes prepared in advance) for the lectures given in 1529 and 1530; they were published in 1532 and then again in an expanded version in 1534. The Lectures on Isaiah in volumes 16 and 17 of the American Edition are compiled from notes taken by students in the lectures; they were published for the first time in 1914 by WA.

2. It's hard to tell from the way StL lists these in its table of contents, but these two works from a later time are included by the StL editors within Luther's scholia for the 1528-1530 lectures on Isaiah apparently because they pertain to the chapters under discussion at those points in the lectures.

3. The dedication for a separate edition of Luther's translation of Daniel printed in 1530.

4. AE has only the 1530 Preface. The commentary on the eleventh and twelfth chapters was written in 1541 and included in an edition of Luther's translation of the Bible published that year.
