This is Margaret with Marie and her parents on September 30, 1938, at their grandfather Gustav and grandmother Albertina Born's home in Minneapolis where they lived after they retired from farming. (Albertina died in 1925; Gustav lived until 1941.)

In front are Marie's children June, Lorie, Colleen, Dave, and Sharon. In back are my grandmother, my Aunt Margaret holding (I think) her first child Douglas, my Aunt Marie, my grandfather, and my Uncle Roger, Marie's husband. I know this is December 1959 because that's the date stamped in the white margin of the original photo.
